Thank You For Supporting Us On Colorado Gives Day!

Colorado Gives Day | Children First of the RockiesThank you for your support for Children First of the Rockies on Colorado Gives Day.

This is our second year participating and while we don’t have final numbers yet, and we don’t know our share of the $1 Million Incentive Fund, we’ve received over $4,200 in donations. This will help enormously with the one-time expenses associated with our upcoming move.

Thank you, thank you for your support and all that you do for Children First.

Colorado Gives Day | Children First of the Rockies

Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event, presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank is coming up and we’d love your support.

On Tuesday, December 8, thousands of donors will unite to support Colorado nonprofits like ours. Last year, a record-breaking $26.2 million was distributed to Colorado nonprofits. It was our first year participating so we set our goal at $2,000 and thanks to your support we blew past that goal and raised more than $6,000. Wow!

This year we’re setting our goal at $8,000! Yes, that’s a big increase over last year but with a growing community of supporters we think we can do it. And … in case you haven’t heard, we are working on a move to a new facility and are anticipating the following expenses:

  • Renovation expenses for the new facility possibly including two bathrooms and a kitchenette, in addition to a fresh coat of paint,
  • New furniture including a workstation, office chair, filing cabinet, and reception area chairs, and
  • Moving expenses incurred in relocating from our present facility.

You’ve probably moved before and you know firsthand about these expenses. You know what we’re talking about.

So we’re asking for your support in meeting our goal and there are a couple of ways you can help.

First, you can make a donation and believe us, any amount will help. This is always true but even more so with Colorado Gives Day because there is a $1 Million Incentive Fund. When you make a donation of any size, we’ll receive a portion of this fund which increases the value of every dollar donated.

Check out our donation page on ColoradoGives.org. There’s no need to wait until December 8 to take action. You can go there right now and schedule your donation for December 8.

Second, you can tell your friends and family members, even those who are out-of-state and out-of-country about Colorado Gives Day by sharing the link to Children First on Colorado Gives with them. An easy way to do that is simply to share this post with them or tell them to go to ColoradoGives.org and search for Children First.

Please be assured that however choose to support us on Colorado Gives Day you’ll be helping us continue to foster parent-child relationships in a safe and supportive environment.

P.S. Have you heard of the national #GivingTuesday event? It’s on December 1 so if you want to support both events, on December 1 you can go to our ColoradoGives page and schedule your donation for December 8. How easy is that!

A Successful First Colorado Gives Day

Colorado Gives Day | Children First of the Rockies

This Tuesday, December 9, is Colorado Gives Day, Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank. This is the day when all donations to non-profits through the Colorado Gives website receive an extra boost from the $1 Million Incentive Fund.

Children First of the Rockies is participating in this for the first time and we’re asking for your support. If you haven’t already done so, please visit our donation page at Colorado Gives. Two important things for you to know. One, you can go now and schedule your donation for December 9 so there’s no need to worry about forgetting to do it. Two, any amount you are able to donate makes a difference to us, because supporting us on Colorado Gives Day means we’ll get a share of that $1 Million Incentive Fund.

However you choose to support us on Colorado Gives Day you’ll be helping us continue to live our mission of fostering  parent-child relationships in a safe and supportive environment.

Thank you for your valuable support.

Colorado Gives Day | Children First of the Rockies

We have some exciting news. For the first time, Children’s First is participating in Colorado Gives Day. This is Colorado’s largest one-day online giving event, presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank.

On Tuesday, December 9 2014, thousands of donors will come together to support Colorado nonprofits like ours. Last year, a record-breaking $20.9 million was distributed to Colorado nonprofits. Since this is our first year participating we’ve set our fundraising goal at $2,000 and I’m asking for your support in meeting this.

There are a couple of ways you can help.

First, you can make a donation and believe us, any amount will help. This is always true but even more so with Colorado Gives Day this year because there is a $1 Million Incentive Fund. When you make a donation of any size, we’ll receive a portion of this fund which increases the value of every dollar donated.

Check out our donation page on ColoradoGives.org. There’s no need to wait until December 9 to take action. You can go there right now and schedule your donation for December 9. It’s only donations received on December 9 before midnight Mountain Time that will get the boost from the $1 Million Incentive Fund.

Second, tell your friends and family members, even those who are out-of-state and out-of-country, about Colorado Gives Day by sharing the link to Children’s First on Colorado Gives with them. An easy way to do that is simply share this post with them or tell them to go to ColoradoGives.org and enter Children First in the search bar.

Please be assured that however you choose to support us on Colorado Gives Day you’ll be helping us continue to foster parent-child relationships in a safe and supportive environment.

Warm regards,

Robin
